Wills obsession with acoustic instruments from a young age led him to study genres such as Bluegrass, Jazz and Folk, with artists such as Tony Rice, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan and many more influencing his writing styles. The acoustic guitar is perhaps his most definitive characteristic; his tall and forward sound is a unique quality that shines through any style and character a song requires. Will grew up in Shropshire county town, Shrewsbury, England. Picking the guitar up at the age of 9 and meeting his musical mentor at age 12 (James Hickman), he began learning fiddle tunes and standards across traditional genres which carried over to forming Bluegrass duo 'Mountain Song' in 2024 - This is where his musical journey began and his love for performing.
